When you build your registry you can set a shipping address so that the gift givers can send the gift directly to you.
You may also decide not to share your shipping address and then they should contact you directly for it or bring the gift with them to your event.
How do I know if someone has bought a gift from my registry?

All purchased gifts are marked purchased in your registry and you can use different filters in order to view them.
